A Married Woman

Hi, it's been long. I wonder if anyone still visit my blog :)

But all ish good.

Life has been really really busy as you can see from the duration of my disappearance.
Blame that on my job. Seriously, working life really sucks out a big chunk of my private time.

Anyways, a brief update of my life. (just in case some are still reading)

I got engaged early this year during Chinese New Year. I bet this is not news already.

What's new is, I got married a month after that :) and no, I'm not pregnant.

We had moved to a new place, with a new environment where I am known as Mrs Wong around the neighbourhood.

Let me tell you the story of my R.O.M day.

I was supposed to register my marriage on my engagement day. But, smart me, left the most important documents (i.e: birth cert) at KL. *slap forehead big time*

Mr Wong was disappointed big time xD but phew, luckily he still wants me.

Again, all ish good.

So we flew back to Sarikei again to register my marriage on the 25th of March which I learnt later that Amber Chia got married on the same day in Bali too! =) and she's a Decemberian too. I wish I'm as successful as her...

I realised something though.

Throughout this 5 years of relationship, we went through loads of hardships - LDR, break-ups, arguments, fights - you name it, we got it. But it is because of all these hardships, our love grew strong and stronger each day.

I don't care how people are going to look at him anymore because I've finally realised that to be able to spend the rest of my life with someone who always put me above everything else, someone who is willing to sacrifice anything for me is what money can't buy.

We still say I love you to each other, not because it has become a habit, but it's because we STILL love each other and I truly appreciate that. =) I wish to maintain this "culture" and pass on this "culture" to our kids.

I sincerely thank GOD for sending me an angel into my life. To love me whole-heartedly and to care for me of all time.

I love you, Mr Wong.

Thanks for being a great husband and all the love that I receive from you every single day is the concrete evidence that I made the right choice, for the first time in my life.

Looking forward to our wedding ceremony sometime next year I hope =)

Because you loved us

Latest photo of me mama!

Because you loved us you've went through all the sufferings that mothers know best,

Because you loved us you've forced yourself to learn how to access your children's blogs just to know what's happening in their lives.

Happy Mother's Day, Mum!

Love you like we always do!

Puan

I find it weird when I'm putting myself under the "Puan" aka Madam category everytime I fill up any form from now onwards.

After 24 years of being Miss Ling, I've finally learn to intro myself as "Puan". Everytime I did that, I have a mixed feelings. I feel old, I feel nostalgic, I feel relieved, I feel matured.

But I'm glad.

At least from now onwards, I know I won't be alone. =)

So, how's life?

I'm engaged!

Yeap, finally after years of proposing I'm here to announce to the world that Mr Wong and I are finally engaged.

I have to admit.

To end up at this stage isn't easy at all.

Tears, love, hatred, and patience you can't miss them out.

But i'm glad. I'm glad that the best-est man on earth is bestowed upon me.

Only God and my family know the best what we'd been through.

Do forgive me, friends, of this massive surprise. I really don't like publicity. Simple life pleases me most. ^^

Thanks to my Da Sao, I get the chance to make it up to you guys.

I would like to thank everyone who made it to my mini engagement ceremony - Connie, David, Aunt Kim Hing and relatives, Da sao's mummy etc etc.

Your presence means a lot a lot to the both of us.

Thank you, mum and dad, for raising me up, for providing me a good life, good education, for loving me without boundaries, for putting up with my immature nonsense when I'm still in the process of becoming an adult, for letting me choose what I want to be, for EVERYTHING!

Thank you, my in laws, for welcoming me as one of you for the rest of my life.

Thank you my big bro, my da sao, Jeff, Jerome and AJ Ling for always being there for me.

I sincerely thank God for this wonderful family combinations!

May the Lord continue to bless all of us so that peace and harmony are what our families are in many years to come!

Happy New Year people!

Pamper me Baybeh

I felt like a real princess yesterday.

Finally get to experience how does it feel to be served and beautified the whole afternoon.

Was a bit awkward at first cos I'm usually the one serving people at home - getting my mum nails done, doing chores for her etc etc. But yesterday! was the best day of my life!

Got my nails done not by myself! *bliss

I look extremely happy!
Thanks to Mr Wong I get free pedicure and manicure worth RM100+!! Woot~
The thing I love bout this shop is the service and the designs they provide - shop and nails.
The people there are really nice and friendly too and I nearly doze off during my pedicure session.
All the products used are O.P.Is which not only smells good but helps to relax and chase your stress away! Nice nice..

Bet you can wait to see my nails right?

Tadahhhh what do you think? I super love it to the max! It's like henna drawn on my nails instead on my skin. Awesome! Cool! Fabulous!

Another picture for the awesome-ness. hehe
My toe nails are not quite done yet because Leesa (the pretty boss) said she's gonna do another session called the "moisturizing paraffin" especially for me. =P She's the best!
For those who are staying in Subang, do check this shop out! it's worth a try!! They have facial service too! It's heaven over there. Trust me, you'll love it.
Plus, Chinese New Year is around the corner!! Another reason/excuse to "pan leng leng"(dress up)!! Hehe

My Dream in the Year of the Tiger

I have a deep dark secret inside of me since I was 10.

After 24 long, excruciating years, I've finally decided to let the skeleton out of my smelly closet.

Ready?

Oh, please don't laugh ok? ^^

Here goes...

I've always wanted to act in a movie or drama! Especially comedy! ^^

Now don't laugh!!! xD

Yesterday's photoshoot came in handy though.

Spreaded some magic dust and viola~~

Photobucket

Title of our drama series: Xin fu de gan jue (The feeling of happiness)

"This is a drama series about the life of 2 sisters (Alice and Jane) who just moved in living next to a nerd scientist (Ivan). A comedy/drama full of laughter as the two normal sisters find it hard to mix with a weird neighbour who seems like he's thinking out of space and getting on their nerves all the time. Question is, will Ivan be able to survive from the 2 cheeky sisters in the end?"

Love the title because it's totally ironic to the storyline. Haha

Not that my dream has come true but hey, this could be a good start, no?

Well, guess I just have to continue dreaming then ^^

BBQ Chicken + Graffiti

Went to One Utama to chill just now and guess what?

Meow 1

Met the cutest cat on earth! I'm not a cat person but this baby is ridiculous to not like her! She is one fat, chubby, cheerful looking cat mama~! SO CUTE!

And the best thing is?! She has the exact mole i have right below the corner of my mouth! (right side) Wahahahhaha! I shall name her Meow Alice!

Well if you think that's it, then you're wrong big time~ Mr Wong and I were both awestricken when we saw this!

Looks like the whole Meow family is in One Utama and only the female Meows have noticeable moles on their faces! How adorable! ^^

We spent about 10 minutes standing in front of the hugeeeeee stage admiring and snapping photos of the decorations. Good job event team! Nicely done!

Had lunch at BBQ Chicken. Awesome food! Will go again for sure. Oh by the way, I've cut my hair finally!! Can you tell? hehe

How I wish my hair is like this all the time.

My cuppa hot chocolate. My face is round eh? I loike.

Love this picture. ^^

Look at the amount of food we ate, no wonder my face is so round. LOL

Oh and before we left, we saw another Meow! Look at the mole! Smexy eh? This one has the same exact mole that my dad has! Meow Abui (nickname I gave my dad long time ago = fatty) then! Haha

Curiosity killed the cat

but in my case, it pumped up my lips!

Was wandering around in Watson to check out the latest goods they have in store when I stumbled upon this!

Majolica pump lip gloss!

Read of lot of good stuffs about Majolica products and so I couldn't resist the temptation coming along when I saw the word 'tester' on the shelf.

Before. Pay attention to my bottom thin lip.

After applying the lip gloss on my lips, I felt a teeny weeny stinging sensation going on for a while and tadaaaa....

Fuller looking lips.

Need a better view? Got it!

See?!

My bottom lip looks like it was being stung by the largest bee on earth / being sucked real hard by a vacuum cleaner / ate the spiciest food on earth. HAHAHAHA

I don't know I should be happy or sad but oh well, I tried and have no regrets.

Evil plan: should I buy one to prank both Mrs Lings?! nyahahahahaha

Polka Dots and Ribbons

Painted my colleague's nails the other day for her brother's wedding reception.

I suggested something simple and nice but not too nice so she won't overshine the bride's. So here's the end result.

Closer view!
The more I look at them the more I think they are flowers. (they are actually ribbons if you don't already know) Heh.. I guess everyone can tell I love flower designs now =P

Mine! (last last week's). Lots of ma friends said they are very strawberry-inspired.. hmm.. strange thing is I never thought of strawberry when I painted them ^^
